# New Faces: Kyle Gao

Kyle Gao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Built Environment at Aalto University. He joins the University of Cambridge Energy and Environment Group and the Tessera project as an academic visitor.

He plans to contribute to applications of Tessera for environmental good as well as mathematical representation learning. His research interests include 3D reconstruction, multi-modal remote sensing, geoAI, and environmental monitoring.
